No benefits are payable for loss resulting from suicide or intentionally self-inflicted injury; war or act of war; committing a crime or attempting to do so; treatment of a physical or mental illness; a voluntary intake of poison, drug or fumes; being intoxicated or under the influence of a narcotic (unless prescribed by a physician); travel or flight as a pilot or crew member in any kind of aircraft.
